Annual Art Show - Dates: To Be Announced
The date for the Spring Art Show will be announced later in the school year. Samples of art work the students have produced throughout the school year will be displayed.
Art Room Rules
Students are asked to follow 5 simple rules in the Art room. We review these 5 rules at the beginning of each year. The rules are:
1. Remain quiet during teacher's instructions.
2. Respect others.
3. Follow project directions.
4. Take care of materials.
5. Do your best work.
The Art room has smocks available for student use. Students do not need to bring a smock from home for use in the Art room. Students must where a smock whenever we are working with messy materials. If at all possible, students should try not to where their best clothing on Art days.
Kindergarten Art classes are held in the Kindergarten classrooms. Most Kindergarten students have their own smock in their classroom for ongoing classroom projects. Kindergarten students who do not have their own smock may certainly borrow one of Mrs. Sundra's during Art classes.
